We know that Dracula travelled on a Russian ship, the Demeter, to England (taking along with him 50 boxes of Transylvanian soil for his coffins), and terrorized its ill-fated crew.

What if Dracula were also a passenger on the Titanic...?

Not sure, I remember reading novel about Dracula by Bram Stoker in high school. I also have read Frankestein back then... Later they made Ravenloft Adam's Wraith which is similar to that story... Ravenloft has lots of a bit dark stories like that... Not sure about Titanic but what I am really curious lately about this guys work... very similar to Indy Jones... But he is for real, I mean he is onto something https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0igydMyq47U

I've got ideas written down in notebooks that are 20 years old and I have the next 5 years of projects lined up at any given time, so I'm not sure if I'd ever go so far as to say I'd 'never' use something...and that word 'never' itself...lol

I've seen a lot of stories that combine different literary characters/ settings and they can be a lot of fun. Fred Saberhagen had a series of Dracula novels, and the second one, "The Holmes - Dracula file had the two meet.

Sherlock Holmes is very popular with crossovers - He's met Tarzan, dealt with Jack the Ripper, H.G. Wells martians from "The War of the Worlds", Cthulhu and other Lovecraftian creatures.

The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen is a great crossover in comics, as is DC's First Wave and Future Quest.

Some others worth looking into ;

Tarzan has met King Kong and has gone to Pellucidar and John Carter's Mars.

The "Silverlock" and "Merlin's Ring" novels I talked about a while back I think have a ton of different characters from myth/ history in them.

A short story collection I read for "Kolchak the Night Stalker" had a story where he met Barnabas Collins from the "Dark Shadows"series.

I just finished the second in Christopher Stasheff's "Wizard in Rhyme" series, "The Oathbound Wizard" where Puck has a large presence, and he summons Robin Hood, Tuck, Marion and all the merry men to help fight - the fair folk gave them all immortality to go where they are needed across any dimension where England is in trouble.

Fletcher Pratt and L. Sprague de Camp wrote some stories where the main character, Harold Shea, traveled through various realms of fantasy and history - the first meeting the norse gods. Years later, other authors created new stories for further travels

George Alec Effinger's Maureen Birmbaum has gone to Barsoom, Pellucidar, Sherwood Forest, and had a Lovecraftian adventure.
