Magic the Gathering

Simple card game yet can be interesting. There is Magic the Gathering Arena on Android Phones and also on Steam for PCs. It is cool and up to date...

Now what is interesting is Forgotten Realm set and LoTR and Hobbit. Here are cards reference, I think they might be inspiring for moding art...

I've played Magic: The Gathering since it was released.  I used to play in tournaments and even won one small tournament in 2004.

I wouldn't call Magic: The Gathering a "simple card game," unless you're only playing with beginners.

If you want to play against really great players and decks, you have to be quite skilled, and you have to know how to build effective decks with multiple win strategies so the opposing player(s) can't shut you down completely.

You are probably right... I used to play it around 2003-2004 but I mostly were buying cheaper second hand cards and was not into collecting it... I probably meant it was simpler then MECCG which I was actively collecting at that time... Also Spellfire which I guess is also a bit simpler but very nice card game I used to like a lot... There was a club in Belgrade I used to play there, though they were mostly into Warhammer painting...
