To be clear, that is, if when you are in a Training Hall to advance a PC up a level, and they hardly get any new Hit Points, do you ever Reload without Saving and try again hoping for a better result?

Comments welcome.

"Yes, always", as explained in the other thread.  I won't accept less than 50% of maximum HP gain.

For FRUA, no, never. I assume that Fighters will get, on average, 5.5 HP per level up, Clerics 4.5 HP, Thieves 3.5 HP, and Mages 2.5 HP (before CON bonuses).

For the Gold Box games, when re-playing a game that I have already finished, I have used a hex editor to maximize every character's HP.
"The time has come," the Walrus said, "to talk of many things:
Of shoes — and ships — and sealing-wax — of cabbages — and kings —
And why the sea is boiling hot — and whether pigs have wings."

No, it's one of the few, or only, rolls where the RNG tend to give high numbers for the player.

There was a time when I used to.  These days, I have to admit, I don't usually think to check.  If I'm playing a game, it means I'm wrapped up in the story and I'm not paying attention to game mechanics like that.  That wasn't always the case.  I have a feeling that in another ten years or so, when the girls are older, I may have the mental bandwidth to return to my old gaming style again.

Like how I answered in the PC stats poll: I'll savescum HP if I'm using maxed out characters, otherwise I'll just roll with whatever I get.
