Announcing a new resource for the Dungeon Craft community, the Dungeon Craft Image Archive. This site attempts to collect all of the Dungeon Craft images from the various sites and forums and present them in one, easy-to-use site.

The artists represented in the DC Image Archive:
Dinonykos, Uatu, Nol Drek, ProphetSword, Steve McDonald, Jorg Weber, nologgie, SilentThief, Rune_74, Susan Putney, Mechanaut, various artists at SSI. More artists will be added as their images are located and cataloged.

There are already thousands of images in the archive with about a thousand left to be added.

I have linked to the artists web sites when I could locate them.

Am I missing images? Am I missing links? PM me through the site and let me know what and where I can get it, and I will add it to the archive.

I did a small percentage of the art, and the web is just full of examples of web sites. ;)

I sure hope so. :D I hope pepoe who have been putting off doing a design because they didn't think there was enough art will now realize just how much there is for them to use.

Milos Gulan

Sure :)

Well I wish I could make sites like that :) very good work ;D it looks very easy to use.

Just saw that there is no update on main page for some time http://manikus.reonis.com/ also there is no link to this Archive page. Checking my profile I saw that I joined this site 2012, time really flies :o

Well, thank you for the comliment. :)

I don't do a lot of rendered art for DC any  more, well to put on the web site, because it is not being used. And I have done hundreds of walls in the last four and a half years, but I am not going to post those to the site because they are only for 640x480 default resolution and I try put up work on the site that works for all resolutioins, which means six versions of teh same thing. I guess I do have icons that I could put up, but sine they are mostly in the forums already, I have been lazy and not updated the page.

Once I am finished with the archive, before I start doing updates, I will add links to it on m site and tofficial site.

Very impressive! Thank you for gathering all of these art resources together in a single place. I expect to visit this site often.  :)

Of shoes — and ships — and sealing-wax — of cabbages — and kings —
And why the sea is boiling hot — and whether pigs have wings."

I am going to use whatever I can :) but I am following story that I want to create and trying to make art for it. I guess that I will do renders and then modify them, I also have toon and black and white render options now. But I just wish I could learn to do things like Manikus in the long run, to make site and art and mods :).

Well done

Glad to see people are looking at this. :D I have just made the small pics page live, but still have a few hundred small pics to add to it.

Edited to add:
The small pics are full uplaoded. I will likely do more work with the "converted" art at a later point so that it is easier to go through. For now, grouped by the person who converted the art to DC format.

Enjoy!

Those small pics look great. I like that they are organized by subject and also art style.

The section titled "Rendered Dwarves" did make me wonder... what do you get when you render a Dwarf? Certainly not lard or schmaltz... I'll call it Dwallow.  :D

I think you might get beards and eyebrows.

Uatu

Definitely a great resource for people who want to make a DC module.
Hopefully it will lead to some great mods, too!

Lots of nostalgic art from old games as well.

So true. I wonder how long it will take me to sort it all :) I did it once before but Manikus made it a lot better now so I will have to do it again :)

Big pics and combat dungeons and wildernesses are almost done. I discoverd that I hadn't converted all of the SSI big pics and combats. Now i have, except for the Buck Rogers combats, They have more bits than the other combat art, and I haven't taken the time to figure out which bits are extra.

edited to add:

Big pics and combat sets are now online and ready to be looked at. :D Enjoy.

edited to add:

Frames and cursor sets are now live, for you to look at. :D I hope you find these useful.

edited to add:

The spell and item effects page i now live. :) We have 250+ images. I made animated GIFs for most of them, but for the directional style of effect, I jut howed the first frame.
Enjoy.
